Merge Files Workflow

Combining Data Streams Has Never Been Easier

At first, we didn’t expect file merging to be a blocker—but it quickly became clear that this was one of the biggest pain points for users trying to upload multi-device data. In today’s typical testing setup, different physiological signals come from different sources: muscle oxygenation (SmO2) might be recorded by a wearable like Moxy or Train.Red, while other data (VO2, CHO, FAT) is captured by lab-grade analyzers like COSMED, KORR, VO2 Master and many others. These devices export files separately, often with different formats and sampling rates. Until now, stitching that data together was only possible for experts using spreadsheets, code, or manual syncing. Everyone else was stuck.

You upload your primary dataset (e.g., your metabolic file), then add a secondary dataset (e.g., muscle oxygenation). You choose which signals to keep from each file, align them visually, adjust any time offset left or right, and save the result. The system generates a clean, merged CSV—ready to use inside Assess.Works., fully synced and analysis-ready.

That’s why we built Merge Files—a simple but powerful tool that makes multi-source analysis accessible to everyone.

No more hacking spreadsheets or guessing time shifts. With just a few clicks, you’ve got a unified data stream that makes you feel like a power user—without needing to be a data scientist. It's a simple feature, but it unlocks the full power of multi-sensor diagnostics.
